choosing your camp

The Mendocino Woodlands Camp is comprised of three private campgrounds available for many different kinds of groups such as dance, music, wedding, meditation, training, business, environmental, church and family. The serene setting creates a unique environment for retreats, seminars and nature studies.

For directions to the Woodlands, see Map page.

Each camp is a separate, self-contained area with its own cabins, kitchen/dining/recreation hall, shower/toilet facilities, and campfire circle.

CAMPING FOR INDIVIDUALS
While the Woodlands provides camping for groups only, individuals can enjoy the camp in three ways:
•Contact a group camp listed on the Uncommon Vacations page to see if you can join them. Many groups are looking to expand their numbers and would welcome you.
•Become a Friends of the Woodlands volunteer for an inexpensive, fun-filled weekend. Help the Woodlands tackle a project for a few hours, and have the rest of the weekend to yourself. Meals and lodging included.
•Sign up for Fall Weekend Workshops on such topics as herbs, wilderness first aid, and more.

Many people choose the Mendocino Woodlands to hold their wedding ceremony, anniversary party, birthday or other special event. See our Celebrations page for more information.

For your convenience, we’ve compiled a Resource Guide of local businesses that may help you in planning your event. These are just some of the wonderful people in the Mendocino area that may be able to assist you.
